Life is such that all of us come into the world with individual challenges which I think are meant to make us stronger and wiser. But these challenges are not always easy to work through nor are their lessons easy to learn. I get inspired when I see those people who are able to work through the challenges which might seem insurmountable at first. An important issue that matters to me is violence against women and girls. There is a great need for young people to begin to participate in development processes; but widespread ignorance on critical issues, such as budgeting, can hinder the development process. Another issue that matters to me is the gap between youth and policy makers, but building a bridge between this gap will remain elusive as long as youth remain ignorant on the policy issues that affect all of us.
